The first Spirit fanart that I've ever attempted, and finished. :XD:

I know Spirit's had a tumble here at DA. Mostly nobody can seem to stand it or the style anymore, and I think it might have something to do with the barrage of Spirit lineart that was being uploaded left right and center for a while. That's why I didn't use Spirit style for this particular fanart, and decided to sketch out my fave concept art and practice my old semi realistic style on it. I was curious to see if I could still do it. It's not a unique pose or anything, but heck, it was a chance to break in my new monitor without stuffing up any of my prizes, trades or other WIPS. I still think his legs look a bit funny but ah well, it's fun to upload something anyway. Enjoi!

So should I upload more pics like this, or do you prefer the cell style stuff? Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm thinking of doing a mix of both though... hm.

Keep on loving Spirit, guys. You know he's still cool.

Not sure about any book, but maybe they used the concept art I referenced for the cover. Can't blame them. It's such beautiful arts. The original was done by Luc Desmarchelier. :D
