Whoo! New characters! These guys are Amitola stallions, who were inspired by *Poot-Ball's Abode who was inspired by *whirl-wind's Thatch. I forced them to squeeze onto the same ref sheet because these guys have been inseparable since birth (they're twin brothers) and I always plan to draw them together in the future, so it made sense, rather than fussing with two images all the time. Tobias (up the top) is an ice element and the complete opposite of Thorne who is fire. Tobias is a bit of a goofball and very much a pesky 'younger brother' type, while Thorne is much more mature and wooden with a dry sense of humor. They often bicker, but get along most of the time. Tobias hangs around Thorne mainly for protection, because he knows he can't survive on his own... he's just far too silly.
